Participating in the meeting with the delegation was Deputy Director Nguyễn Trung Quỳnh together with experts and staff of the Management Board of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park.
Discussing in the meeting, Doctor Tim Kelly said that Infodev has been a program coordinated among the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nokia Joint-venture Company and Infodev Organization under World Bank. The Program’s objective is to support the development of a globally sustainable intellectual business, especially focusing on developing countries. The establishment of laboratories on high-quality mobile phone applications worldwide would support enterprises and organizations working in relevant fields locally to be agencies which have creations and innovations for improving the competitiveness and expand their business, contributing to achieve the set objective. Currently Infodev has established two laboratories in Africa and planned to build one more in Eastern Europe, two laboratories in Asia, in which Vietnam is the first place to be identified for establishing this laboratory.
After the presentation made by Deputy Director Nguyễn Trung Quỳnh on advantages and preferential policies on establishing laboratories in Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, the delegation of Infodev experts expressed their deep attentions and hoped to cooperate with partners who were big investors in the field of information and communication technology working in Hoa Lac High-Tech Part to together work, develop and implement the above-mentioned project.
