Participating in the Conference were representative from the hosting agency of Techmart – Mr. Trần Văn Minh- Director of Quang Ninh’s Department of Science and Technology; representative of Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) – Mr. Tạ Bá Hưng – Director of the National Department of Science and Technology Information; representative of Da Nang’s Department of Science and Technology – Mr. Bùi Chính Cương- Director of Da Nang’s Center for Science and Technology Information, representatives from management departments of Ministries, Institutes, Universities, Center for Research and Development. In addition, leaders of enterprises attended together with media agencies came to report on this.
As it is said, in order to implement the Proposal on Technology Market Development, approved by the Government (Decision No. 214/2005/QĐ-TTG dated 30/8/2005), MOST coordinated with Quang Ninh People’s Committee to organize the Technology Market of Red River Delta 2010 (RRD) from August 06 – 09, 2010 in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh province.
This is the second time Techmart of RRD which is organized in order to establish and develop the technology market of provinces in RRE and China – Vietnam border; introduce typical technologies and equipment appropriate with the region; create the environment to link S&T with production and business; strengthen linkages among S&T organizations, Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises; support for renovating technologies, improving capacities, increasing productivities and quality of products.
Techmart Quảng Ninh has been focused on introducing technologies and equipment on Mineral Exploitation - Processing, Machine Engineering - Manufacturing, Sea ports, Construction Materials, Electricity – Electronics - Automation, Information Technology - Telecommunications, Chemicals - Pharmacy, Traffic - Transportation, Textile - Shoes, Agricultural – Forestry – Aquaculture processing, food, Industries for agriculture, mountainous agriculture, Technology for Environmental Treatment, Tourism, Health, Education.
Techmart Quảng Ninh 2010 would be a good opportunity for S&T organizations, enterprises and individuals to introduce research S&T achievements applied in manufacturing and business, promote technology transfer, meet demands of the economic and social development and improve production capacities of provinces in RRD and the whole country.
